Training & Development
We’re committed to the development of our people and promoting a knowledge sharing culture. Our dedicated team of Professional Support Lawyers run a comprehensive range of technical training courses throughout the year. These include divisional team training, programmes for our newly qualified solicitors and commercial awareness training for all lawyers throughout the firm.
We also have two development programmes in place:
The Development Pathway for associates and above focuses on developing nontechnical knowledge and skills, from how to handle difficult conversations well, to delivering presentations with confidence.
The Developing Leaders Programme is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to prepare someone for the challenges of becoming a partner. The programme is aimed at high performing senior fee earners who have the track record, potential and aspiration to become a partner. The programme consists of core skills training, involving project management, leadership & management, critical conversations, and coaching and mentoring.
Our fee earners and partners work together to set objectives for the year and meet every six months as part of our performance development programme.
We are happy to support and fund additional training.
