With a strong focus on and a recognised expertise in the energy sector, acting for clients in the oil & gas industry and in the renewables arena, we are looking to build on our considerable strengths in the sector by growing our energy team. We are looking to recruit a Solicitor/Senior Solicitor to join our energy team, ideally, but not necessarily, based in our Aberdeen office. Work that the successful applicant would be involved in would include providing advice on joint venture matters; assisting in the acquisition and disposal of Licence interests; assisting in infrastructure access agreements required to develop offshore fields and to export production from them through platforms, pipelines and terminals owned by other joint ventures; and providing guidance and support to clients in connection with issues associated with the wider energy transition.
Ability to work in a close-knit team and a strong work ethic is essential.
Candidates will ideally have knowledge of the oil and gas and broader energy industry. However, those with general corporate experience will be considered.
