Burness Paull is one of Scotland’s premier law firms with offices of equal size and strength across Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, serving clients in Scotland, the UK and globally.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Solicitor / Associate (2-5 years PQE) for our Technology and Commercial team in our Edinburgh or Glasgow office working with Callum Sinclair, David Goodbrand and Colin Miller, our Technology and Commercial partners.
This role will involve working on a range of technology and commercial contracts and advisory work including enterprise cloud agreements, IT outsource, digital transformation and software licensing agreements, and web/mobile contracts; IP agreements including sponsorship, licensing and agreements to transfer and protect IP; and privacy work such as GDPR advisory and projects. It will also involve corporate support work in the above areas.
You must have a passion for technology and commercial work, be pragmatic and results focussed, and be able to work under pressure and to tight timescales as a key member of our team.
