Burness Paull is looking for a Knowledge & Development Lawyer to join the English Property team. This is a permanent part time position (17.5 hours per week) and we are fully flexible on location and working pattern.
Key responsibilities are:
Create, implement and supervise the English Real Estate team’s internal training programmes, including division wide-training, training for junior assistants and training for trainees;
Ensure that the English Real Estate team are kept fully up-to-date with all relevant developments in the law;
Provision of assistance and guidance to fee earners for high level technical queries;
Write or contribute to blogs and other articles as may be required from time to time; and
Attend and participate in regular meetings with the firm’s KDL team to discuss and implement current initiatives and support the firm-wide knowledge management needs.
They will need to have a first class knowledge of English commercial property law;
The candidate will need to be highly organised and motivated self starter and have the ability to build and maintain a good relationship with colleagues;
They will need to be comfortable presenting and training groups of lawyers; and
They will need to have a flair for producing written materials.
