We are looking to recruit a Document Specialist for the Document Production division in our Edinburgh office.


Key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Type and amend all client correspondence and legal documents to a high level

  • Ensure all work complies with the house style or relevant industry style

  • Check work to ensure accuracy, formatting and presentation are maintained

  • Complete work in the correct order in accordance with priority to ensure all documents are completed within required timescales

  • Produce PowerPoint presentations

  • Create and update precedents


Skills required:

  • Legal experience is highly desirable, however candidates with a strong background in document production from another industry will be considered

  • Fast and accurate copy and audio typing skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of DocXtools is desirable, however training will be provided
