Burness Paull is one of Scotland’s premier law firms with offices of equal size and strength across Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, serving clients in Scotland, the UK and globally.

We are looking to recruit a Paralegal to join our Commercial Real Estate team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will work alongside Graeme Bradshaw, one of our Glasgow Real Estate partners. 

There will be a requirement to attend the Glasgow office from time to time but this role can include working from home or working from our Edinburgh office. We welcome applications from candidates based outside of Glasgow. 

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Project Management;

  • Title review and reporting, ordering searches and reports;

  • Lease reviews and reporting;

  • Dealing with the grant of servitude and wayleaves;

  • Utility Agreements;

  • Negotiation and preparation of Telecoms Code agreements, completion of such agreements;

  • Lease management;

  • Managing billing processes, purchase orders and preparation of invoices;

  • Identifying and creating more efficient processes for certain set transactions; and

  • Monitoring client updates and precedents.

The successful candidate will have excellent administration skills as well as strong commercial awareness.  Experience in all of the responsibilities is desired but not essential, we welcome applications from candidates with general commercial property experience.
