We are looking to recruit a Bids & Business Improvement Assistant for the Business Development & Marketing, Business Services department in our Edinburgh office.

Key responsibilities for a Bids & Business Improvement Assistant are:

  • Project manage the firm’s response to bids/tenders

  • Facilitate discussion on the firm’s strategy to the bid

  • Advising on appropriate document structure and style

  • Coordinate inputs from senior lawyers, ensuring internal deadlines are met

  • Write non-technical content

  • Facilitate and advise on approach to pitch presentations.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in business development within professional services would be advantageous.

  • Self sufficient - the candidate will be expected to manage their own workload

  • Highly organised - this role involves multiple projects with many moving parts

  • Commercially minded - understanding client pressures and meeting client needs
